NaPali Coast Pictures

“Here are some of my pictures from the NaPali Coast last summer. I was having some trouble uploading them. Some went through, and others wouldn't. I'll have to retry the others in a couple of days.

Check out the rescue chopper. There was a guy running back to the trailhead a little after we started hiking. He said his friend was hurt badly and wanted to know if our cell phone worked. It didn't so he kept running. We found the woman a few miles in with some of her other friends. She had a very nasty looking broken ankle. She was very lucky to be near the base of a waterfall when she did it. There aren't many places for a helicopter to land, and the terrain was really rough and very thick.

I also wanted to note the pic of the sea turtle in the water was from Oahu. It was actually at the beach where Lost is filmed. I didn't get any pictures of the set because they were setting some stuff up and weren't letting people take pictures. My friend said not to test them because the "bouncers" had taken memory sticks from people's cameras the last time he was there.”
