“I'm completely hooked. Did my first trip on my new skis. Skied into Great Camp Santanoni today. Weather was perfect. The only bad part of the day was the face plant I did coming down the last hill before reaching the lake. I need to learn a little more control.”

“Ok before Scorchy kills me. Thanks for getting me the good deal on the skis.”

“Kewlness!! I got a few hours of bc skiing here in Pa yesterday, before it all melts away. We should thru ski the Jackrabbit Trail one of these days. Got 31 miles in ya?”

“maybe. I fell pretty sore after 10 right now.”

“I'm thinking of next year looking into getting some x-country skis. really, the dunes are a great place for skiing!”

“I'm sure I'm going to hear it from Gremil, because I went with waxless skis.”

“Hey Pennsy, what do you think of hitting Allen? ski into the base, 1.5 miles up, 1.5 miles down and then ski out.”

“Skiing into Avalanche Pass would be fun. Allen sounds interesting, but keep in mind that skiing with a full pack or pulling a sled on terrain that isn't dead flat is a lot of work.

Don't fret about Grems and waxless. He confessed to me last week that he wished he had waxless because the conditions up his way are so varied.”

“Careful what you say or Gremlin might wax your fanny.”

“I was thinking with skis Allen might be doable in a day. The problem with that mountain it the loge approach, which is mostly flat.”
