I got hte wonderfull news at my new job that I'm not working weekends and holdiays WOHOO!!!, nor will I be working 14 day stretches constantly anymore. I've worked there one day, I already love it. So, less work= more hiking!!! And I won't be bored to tears any more at work!!!! WOHOO!!

Lost Creek Wilderness holds a special place in my heart. My first solo trip to CO in '93 I bought a backpack on a whim, packed my Coleman sleeping bag and orange pup tent, and headed into the mountains in my Suzuki Samauri. After driving around all day I ended up at the Spruce Creek NFCG. I the morning I bushwhacked up the mountain behind the campground and watched the sun rise over the Tarryall Mtns. I was re-born!”
