Need Prayers
Hey guys my oldest son Trevor aka. Trip'N'Fall as named by StoveStomper needs prayers. We are at Saint Judes in Memphis, TN. He has been diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). At this point all we are asking for is prayers for him. Saint Jude so far has been wonderful to us.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle was the place where treatment for leukemia was pioneered under Dr. E. Donnell Thomas (1990 Nobel Laureate). Since his Nobel prize, two other staffers have won Nobels as well.

Here's the leukemia part of the center's website: http://www.fhcrc.org/research/diseases/leukemia/

I reported on several kids who went out there for treatment in the early 80s and survived. The town held fund raisers for years to raise money to help the families pay for the treatment.

I'm sorry to hear that. We still have a pic of you guys and my girls at graveyard fields half buried on our refrigerator. The girls still ask when will we camp with trip-N-Fall again, although I thought one of the boys was Trip and the other Fall. I hope we get that chance again soon.

The southern cruisers riding club I am a member of rides for St. Jude's all the time. St. Jude's is a great organization.

All our love and prayers.

AML is complicated.

Get Organized

Find one of these. Free, pay shipping or download and print them. There may be a stash of them at St. Jude to give away. Find somebody to ask.

Hey guys just wanted to say thanks for the blessings. Things are really going great so far. We started Chemo last night and will be on the program for quite some time. Trevor is in wonderful spirts and is ready for this fight. I told one of the doc's that this kids can do it! On our laptop is a slide show with him, myself and his brother on top of Mount Elbert in Colorado. We climbed that mountain together and we can climb this one as well. I keep in touch when I can.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that the Chemo has went well so far for Trevor. The folks at Saint Jude's are still wonderful. If any of you have supported Saint Jude's I would personally like to say thank you. Also thank's for your prayers and wishes. We have felt them and wish for everyone to continue.

Thanks again,

Mark
