"Authorities say Viera's inexperience on the motorcycle may have been a factor in the crash."

That's totally messed up how they threw him under the bus like that.

My prayers go out to not only your family but the other driver as well...

He is probably a little emotionally shaken right now...

Prayers for your family. That is awful, awful. Agreed on the other driver. Regardless or right or wrong, that person is likely dealing with lots of guilt.

I think sarge might have actually been aiming his comment at the authorities blaming your B-I-L for the accident.

On 2nd reading, the authorities are supposed to determine fault, but that doesn't mean the newspaper folks had to publish it. More of the public right to know BS. That part shouldn't have been in the article, imo.

i don't think that God answers prayer from bad girls and i haven't really spoken to him much in a while because of what i am going through. i'm not even sure he will answer this prayer at all, but i'll ask for it because it concerns more than just me.

if you don't know yet our apartments are going to be torn down sometime and they will not tell us when except that at some point we will be given 60 days notice.

we are looking for a new place. we cannot afford to live in this school district no matter how badly i want to Brian to be able stay with his marching band, drumline and all his friends.

we saw a wonderful apartment this morning. it's a beautiful apartment in a good area, with a good high school. the high school has a marching band and a winter drumline. the apartment has one more bathroom than we have now, a fireplace, a garage, and a view of the mtns, things that we don't have now. and it's $75 dollars less than we are currently paying.

the thing is our credit sucks. when steve had his stroke we had to declare bankruptcy to get out from under credit cards, simply no way to pay them when he wasn't working and we didn't have his social security for two years. we also have thousands of dollars of outstanding medical bills. i am very afraid that we won't get it on this account. i explained it to the manager. i pay all of our bills except there is just no money for the medical stuff.

So what I am asking for is prayer that we do get this apartment. Maybe God will listen to you.

most apartment complexes(at least around here) don't put a lot of emphasis on credit...it's more about a long rent history...good luck

Coming from a person that denied God for too long, His grace is far reaching. If it shines on me, it shines on you. Good luck in your situation and use it as a platform to find the heart of that grace.

I feel like I should suggest Donald Miller's 'Blue Like Jazz'. Spirituality for sinners. Taught me a lot about the operations of faith.

I will certainly pray for you and send good thoughts you way. I would suggest you write a letter explaining your situation. I know that you explained it in person, but at the end of the letter have 3 or 4 references. Your landlord would be good and anyone else that knows your character and send that in to the manager. Might help. Also a letter from your bank may help.

Praying for you, my friend I haven't met yet. Don't know why God doesn't always speak English, but do believe He shows his love in many ways, and believe he cares for you and yours. You don't sound like a bad girl to me. Personally, I think God hates hypocrites and you seem pretty honest.

Prayers, Pammie. If God didn't like bad people he'd have no one to love. He made us all this way, didn't he?

I hope the young bateauxdriver is doing well too.

Well I dropped off the forms and spoke with him a bit longer. Then I called him back just to tell him something I forgot to put on the form because there was no spaces for other types of income and I figured it was pertinant. So I got another chance to talk with him. I think he likes us. But still it will come down to the credit check I imagine.

Day 241

Mark and Rudy are on their way home. One again we are a family divided. Mark and Rudy resume their lives in Louisiana and Trevor and I continue our lives at St. Jude.
It is so hard to see them leave. My poor Rudy continues to bounce from house to house. What we do without Cindy Watts and Denise Landaiche? They have giving him a home and plenty of love.

Tomorrow Trevor has light therapy.
Please pray that I can find the strength to continue this long journey.
