It's in the Arches?!?!??

Oh...you know I'm going to find it next week while we are there and get a photo!

Probably an inappropriate photo. :)

That's what the flickr pic caption says.

It calls for a highly inappropriate photo. ;)

Found it...it's called "Whataman Formation". ~snicker~ Indeed. Says it's the second most photographed place in the Arches...only after "Delicate Arch".

I don't remember seeing "Whataman" in my ANP guide book...lol

I wonder why? ;)

For that I would have to climb into a harness and give climbing a try.

You know how people take shots of the Tower of pisa looking like they are holding it up? Try to get a long distance shot of that rock where it looks like you are trying to squat on it.

Yes, that is ummmmm...an appealing picture. I just keep looking at it over and over.

Reminds me of the time I tried to trim a couple of cedar trees next to my front porch that had overgrown. They started out kind of cone shaped. Well, I started trimming evenly around the trees starting from the bottom up. I soon realized there was no way to reach the top and finish the job. So, yup, I ended up with two phallic looking trees adorning my front porch!

Hey treebait, this is the perfect thread for a picture of those peter peckers..I mean peppers. sheesh, my mind is stuck in the gutter today.

Lilmountaingirl, yea the neighbors noticed and they were appalled. I offered to cover them up with hugh plastic bags, like big rubbers, but they didn't find that funny either. Of course, all of this must made me leave the trees as they were even longer, until the day I got an interesting little letter from the homeowners association! What weenies!

Dang hyway, I wish I had thought of that at the time!

LMAO at Creek Dancer. :) Reminds me of the time I went to an herbal wreath making class. There were these cool looking seed pods of some sort so I decided to use some on my wreath. So I made this arrangement and sorta had one sticking up in the center. I thought it looked very original until someone remarked that it looked phallic.
So I looked at it again and decided "Ummm. Yeah--well maybe I should change that!"
