The other great line came from Heidi Fleiss..... "It's not that complicated.   He just wanted to get laid."

The rate schedule

Forget the hourly rates, take a gander at the daily rates.

I wonder, if these women are so good, maybe the average Joe would only need 2 minutes to get his rocks off.

Lets see $1,200 / 30 = $40 or only 8 cups of Starbucks.

Let the chips fall where they may and may the right wing pundits load their drawers ad infinitum and fling crap to the ether.

This certainly helps to stave off any news drought.

Shouldn't a governor be a manager, why a lawyer? When did the law leave earth and reality for it's orbital sabbatical?

When will americans get back to being able to do something worthwhile without spending life in a courtroom? Get back to 1908 when a brick layer made more than a lawyer , because he had to deal with the elements and the dangers of the job. The lawyer, yes had to go to school, but to learn what for what?

Before we get to the contest, we have some more business to attend to. While we're talking about minor leagues, we'd like to commend the Macon Music for their quick work in announcing "Eliot Spitzer Night" at the ballpark to take place on June 13.

As part of the promotion: (1) the team has invited former governor Spitzer to throw out the first pitch, (2) client (or fan #9) will receive a free Music prize pack, (3) any fan named Eliot, Spitzer or "Kristen" or someone from New York will get $1 off admission, (4) wire taps will be placed throughout the ballpark, (5) ATM's will be available for cash withdrawals "not to exceed $5,000 per hour, (6) Any fan who has resigned their position will be given $1 off admission, (7) The 871st fan will receive a gift certificate to the Macon Music team store.

The team does have one issue to rectify. They promised to give away a free trip to New York and one night stay in the Mayflower hotel, without realizing that the Mayflower hotel is in Washington D.C.

Almost four months before Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned in a sex scandal, a lawyer for Republican political operative Roger Stone sent a letter to the FBI alleging that Spitzer ''used the services of high-priced call girls'' while in Florida.

The letter, dated Nov. 19, said Miami Beach resident Stone learned the information from ''a social contact in an adult-themed club.'' It offered one potentially identifying detail: The man in question hadn't taken off his calf-length black socks ``during the sex act.''

Stone, known for shutting down the 2000 presidential election recount effort in Miami-Dade County, is a longtime Spitzer nemesis whose political experience ranges from the Nixon White House to Al Sharpton's presidential campaign.

A sitting Governor was taken down by a political operative. Get it???????

The following paragraph from the article caught my eye:

The letter was written several months after allegations were leveled at Stone that he had left a threatening phone message at the office of Bernard Spitzer, the ex-governor's father, regarding ''phony'' campaign loans involving his son's unsuccessful 1994 bid for attorney general. Stone denied making the call but resigned as a consultant for state Senate Republicans in Albany.

Of course I get it. A political leader who is a hypocrite scumbag got caught. I have no problem with that. Politicians who are hypocrites are the worst kind regardless of their party affiliation. Spitzer is was taken down by his own hand (with his socks on no less) - not his opposition. He alone is responsible.

If this were a simple case of adultery, he would still be governor and rightly so. Adultery is a personal issue between two married people and should not be played out in the press or be the reason that someone loses political office.

This, however, was a case of hypocricy and organized crime and this was between a governor and the people of his state. He did the right thing by stepping down.

The only big losers here are the people of New York. He was a brilliant and effective leader who brought about some much needed change on Wall Street. Unfortunately, he wasn't very smart.
