Easy hike for TT backpackers

“dudes here on trail talk. an invitation to all if you can. i am no troll dudes.

Allegheny Front Trail - West Loop 31.6 miles, maybe too much. i have another easy one you may be able to do. Quehanna Trail- Short Loop 19.5 miles, i hope you can join me on a real trip ,no dates set awaiting for some if not to hard for you to respond.

ENS has been known to from time to time as well. Hell, I've backpacked in PA a bit over the past couple of years, but its a bit far to travel unless its a really special trip.

oh yeah, and Pennsy, and jmitch, and PhantomSoul and a handfull of others.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding backpacking pals in PA on this site.

“For the record...

some of us who do easier hikes are in situations where we are doing what we can. Three years ago I could hardly walk. Slowpoke's poke along is definatly off your radar screen and that's ok. But for families with smaller kids it might be just the ticket to get them interested in doing some hiking. For people who are recovering from injuries it might be just the ticket.

I am not trying to dis on your skills or anything else, but to label shorter/slower hikes as a waste of your time seems a bit harsh to me.

“PA is great state to hike in. I have always been impressed with the topography, amount of opportunities and hosting every time I'm there. However, with petrol in the range of 3.50 - 4.00 per gallon in the very near future, I am unfairly reduced to my limited radius here in the land of the mitten.
