Anyway, like I said before, it wasn't the political stuff he was banned for - it was the random abuse he handed out on the non-fuego threads.

Sarge was a fantastical brilliant mind. y2 incorrectly assumes that Sarge could not outline his beliefs, but the reality is Sarge chose not to outline his beliefs (all the time, although he did sometimes) because he wanted to give the reader the benefit of the doubt that he could think for him/herself, even when he/she had their doubts about themself. He wanted to treat others as adults, not spoonfeed them like the socialist education system of our country that has the students memorize lists instead of think about concepts.

Actually, I was the first person to "get in a tussle" with sarge (remember the Christianity debate 2 years ago?), and for the last 8 months or so I've ignored all the BS. Without using the ignore button. I even declared my intention directly to him... and he accepted the truce and has honored it.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but it occurs to me that we could be getting trolled by the masters.

Do we have any indication, other than XL's statement, that Sarge is actually banned? I think not. Could not this be a potential world class troll attempt? Could not this be a cooked up scheme. Could not they have corresponded secretly (in their weekly exchange of personal photos)and created the scenario where XL raises the question, and Sarge merely confirms by his silence (which I am sure is tough enough, by the way.) It's all on us...or you, because I figgered it all out.

Sarge could rise again from the dead on Easter Sunday, thus facilitating an immediate and fervent spiritual experience that instantly casts Mutt into a transcendant right wing zealot spiritual experience that makes him even less fun than he is now. If he chooses to out himself,which he and XL have already done by acknowdging that the two of them routinely exchange personal photo's, he could reappear on April Fools Day and rightly claim title to "The Greatest TT Hoax in History".
