mass exodus of trailtalk

“Since Elise won't out any of the trolls that have plagued this board and have demeaned people and since she has allowed sarge to return, I am proposing a mass exodus of trailtalk.

I am hoping to rally as many people as possible to leave this worthless rubble of a website, fronting as a bbs for backpacking and hiking enthusiasts.

Stand with me and never come to this worthless baord again.”

I've been spending most of my time on a certain, decidedly troll free, and amazingly ON TOPIC forum. It's more dedicated to climbing and mountaineering - which is where my interests lie anyway.

“Now, now, nigal. He's advocating voting with his feet. There are a fair amount of ion throwers around here that are greatly dissatisfied, and a good deal of that block that still post out of loyalty, habit, lack of whatnever.

This board grew out of dissatisfaction due in part with backpacker.com. Many people, perhaps you as well, advocated moving to greener pastures as well.

Might I remind you that you are one of the earlier ones that grew dissatisfied with this board, left, posted only on bper.com, than came back here?

“Having been part of the mass exodus from the original backpacker.com board it would seem ENS is blowing smoke up his own butt. No one seems to be joining on the bandwagon.

It is as a couple of others have mentioned...give us a board that has some of the features that this one provides, such as the trip planning page and people will come.

It took several weeks of searching by a few individuals to find somewhere when we left BPer.com. So ENS if you want to find that place feel free...we are waiting.”

ENS is one of the biggest "backpackers" on the board. He's also one of the biggest instigators. He often says things with the sole purpose of stirring things up, but he thinks he gets a "pass" because he's a frequent backpacker.

He's also the first one to complain about things. Everyone can relate to the guy/girl at work who is always planting seeds of descent in others' minds. They're called "poison", in business terminology. That's ENS. He's the kind of personality that isn't happy no matter where he is ... maybe that's why he backpacks so much, I don't know.

You guys want to "follow" somebody to a "happier" place? Follow somebody like crazypace, crashbang, jmitch or somebody like that who has paid their dues, but don't spend their time spreading these seeds of poison. ENS backpacks a lot, and he's probably great to get drunk with, but that doesn't mean he's a leader, and if you scroll up and read his posts, that's exactly what he's trying so hard to be. Leaders are full of solutions, not questions and complaints.

ENS is the source of his own problems. When he said this - Since Elise won't out any of the trolls that have plagued this board and have demeaned people and since she has allowed sarge to return, I am proposing a mass exodus of trailtalk., what he doesn't realize is the reason that she allowed me to return is because when I was banned, he and others were going crazy complaining, swearing and just doing all the things that he accused me of doing. It was his hypocrisy that brought upon my return, and it's his hypocrisy that is the cause of all of his strife in life. He needs help - he's certainly not the one to do the helping.

EnS is a great Kid. He is also very articulate. When he said proposing thats what he meant. All the response that was necessary was whether it was a good idea or not. Every personal affront or derogatory thing you say thats not related to whether or not its a good idea only enforces his argument. IMHO”

Most people agree these trolls need outed. I even said as much. The 'exodus' talk is what is bull.
