“Something for the politicos on the board. I heart Mike Thompson. My local urban paper featured him quite a bit. A great sample: He always seems to be able to jab at both sides with a good level of wit.” 4:36:43 PM 3/14/08 “lowes?” 5:08:01 PM 3/14/08 “Daryl Cagle is always a good one, too: ”5:09:06 PM 3/14/08 “How is building a toy box political? And what is Q doing shopping at an evil big box store? Ohhhh BUSTED! This is as good as finding Hoover's women's underwear drawer! LOL!” 5:20:56 PM 3/14/08 “"“How is building a toy box political? And what is Q doing shopping at an evil big box store? Ohhhh BUSTED! This is as good as finding Hoover's women's underwear drawer! LOL!”" I must have missed something. I was only trying to take note of, and appreciate some of, the more talented political cartoonists around no matter the political type. This was not to infer in any way a political standing, or a change of political stance.” 5:30:42 PM 3/14/08 “There is obviously something going on here that might not have been intended. Scott's post of "lowes" makes absolutely not sense to my posting of Mike Thompson's picture of a room full of people screaming at Barack Obama.” 5:37:05 PM 3/14/08 “Your picture isn't showing up and the addie for the graphic is this: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=howTo&p=Build/ToyBox” 5:39:44 PM 3/14/08 “lol! Well, I guess they have to get around pimping the free images. For the record, I did walk through Lowes the other day, after walking out of Home Depot, and still didn't find what I needed until I went to my local ACO Hardware. Thanks for the pick up, Nigal.” 5:45:09 PM 3/14/08 “"I heart Mike Thomson"? How old are you? Who says that? Britney Spears fans maybe.” 5:47:25 PM 3/14/08 “I thought it was an addie you had copied and accidentally pasted as the cartoon's addie. Personally Home Depot gives me a woody. I don't get to see many political cartoons because I don't read the paper. I do have a great appreciation for equal opportunity party bashers though.” 5:48:06 PM 3/14/08 “Arg! I came across this lame crap while we were hashing out the last issue: ![]() Good gravy what elementary artwork. So contrived and projecting.” 5:50:30 PM 3/14/08 “"Personally Home Depot gives me a woody. I don't get to see many political cartoons because I don't read the paper. I do have a great appreciation for equal opportunity party bashers though." I like HD generally, but my recent purchases have left me limp. The closest one to me (until "they" plant one in the new strip mall down the street) has a Lowes right next to it, which is stealing some of that HD store's Mojo.” 5:59:47 PM 3/14/08 “ ”6:13:40 PM 3/14/08 “lol! Hey now! That crappy ass poli cartoon that I posted above has a signature of "Jim Huber". A quick poke around turned up that this dipchit has a website equally as dumb: http://www.conservativecartoons.com/ Checkout the crap that tool scrawls.” 6:23:21 PM 3/14/08 “laqtis "hearts" good artwork. LOL!” 6:25:03 PM 3/14/08 “And Sarge hearts Jim Huber: Username: Sarge Email: jimhuber123@yahoo.com State of residence: Pennsylvania Member since: 8/20/04 Other comments: ooga booga - got a problem with that? Is this your old website, "Sarge": http://www.jimhuber.org/contact.php last edited: 3/14/08 6:26:38 PM” 6:28:32 PM 3/14/08 “Well?” 7:13:01 PM 3/14/08 “The Jim Huber Story Jim grew up in a small, suburban, New York town, East Northport. He and his older brother were raised by his two proud parents, Carol, a full-time mom, and William, a retired New York City cop. Jim attended public schools, graduating with honors in high school and then at the University of Buffalo, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science. Jim moved down to Northern Virginia, and began his career as a web designer. He worked for a few companies, large and small, till he decided to take a risk by going off on his own. In 2002, he formed Huberspace, his own web development business, based here in Leesburg. Jim is also an accomplished political cartoonist. His cartoons can be found in small newspapers around the country and numerous websites. He just celebrated his tenth year last November. Not too long after moving to Virginia, Jim started to get active in politics. He tirelessly volunteered his time with grassroots and professional services, to support candidates who believe in fiscal restraint, small government, and lower taxes. He has helped numerous local campaigns in Northern Virginia. While Jim's activism resulted in electing some good people, the best achievement was in 1999, when he met a fellow activist, Sue Haenig, at a Young Republican meeting. Jim was smitten the first time he saw her smile. Sue may not have responded as quickly as Jim, but three years later the two were engaged. Then, after little searching, they found and bought their perfect house in the charming town of Leesburg. Jim and Sue celebrated their first anniversary this past St. Valentine's Day, and are living happily ever after. Associations * Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce * Loudoun County Republican Committee * National Rifle Association * Association of American Editorial Cartoonists I don't know ... this does sound kinda like a Sarge post: "Disclaimer: these cartoons are not intended for the faint of heart, Democrats, feminists, environmental nuts, liberals, members of the mainstream media, terrorists, or the humorless. Any emotional stress these cartoons may now cause is at your own risk, and Jim Huber is not liable, legally or otherwise. So there." Perhaps this is why Sarge only wants to make "Controlled Connections" on this board. I think that Sarge is this Jim Huber #&%!$. I could be wrong; at the very least Sarge obviously thinks so highly of this Jim Huber phuck that he uses his name as part of his email. Of course, the email could be a red herring, but we can at the very least play "bat the troll" over it. lol! last edited: 3/14/08 7:54:58 PM” 7:53:15 PM 3/14/08 “Q, you've got mail.” 8:02:36 PM 3/14/08 “Ah crap! I thought I had herpes.” 8:07:14 PM 3/14/08 “I sent ya some nudies to your publicly listed email address. I didn't see the tits you sent me.” 8:16:37 PM 3/14/08 “Jim Huber appointed to Economic Development Commission January 24, 2007 Freshman Councilman, Ken Reid, appointed Jim Huber as his representative on the Town of Leesburg's Economic Development Commission, replacing Alex V. Mai, who is relocating. Jim was unanimously confirmed by the Town Council today. The Leesburg Economic Development Commission's mission is to ensure the economic vitality and stability of the Town of Leesburg. The commission works to retain/expand existing businesses, attract/recruit desirable new businesses and enhance economic activities that will benefit local businesses and residents.” 8:24:42 PM 3/14/08 I'm just looking for a Controlled Connection “No listed events at this time. Is this Sarge, or are you going to take another "self-imposed banning" like you did the last time I brought this up? Tell you what. Perhaps everyone who has a #&%!$ with you should contact this dude via his email and let him know what kind of people support his "campaign". leesburg@huberspace.net last edited: 3/14/08 9:44:48 PM” 9:44:14 PM 3/14/08 “Wow laqtis. Up to you though. LOL" I might not want to? That's not real proper like. Why wouldn't I might not like to? You gonna come over here and draw a smiley face on me? There is a question pending up there.” 9:58:43 PM 3/14/08 “Keep IMing your "controlled connections" You've got some leaks in your network ...” 10:02:17 PM 3/14/08 “laqtis, why is it that I get the feeling that the highlight of your day is when somebody asks you to use "paper" instead of the all too common "plastic".” 10:05:47 PM 3/14/08 “"laqtis, why is it that I get the feeling that the highlight of your day is when somebody asks you to use "paper" instead of the all too common "plastic" I'm not Dr. Phil, so your misconception about reality should be taken up with a registered professional.” 10:14:46 PM 3/14/08 “Events Calendar No listed events at this time. Is that the highlight of your day?” 10:19:54 PM 3/14/08 “Forum Jim has his cartoons to give his opinions, and now you can give yours. Serious question for you. Do you suspect your parents ever caught on that you took 2 lunch monies to school each day, one in your pocket and one in your sock?” 10:33:38 PM 3/14/08 “"So dickhead Jim Huber.
