I think these dogs need to get together!!

There was a cool photo on the banner of the main geocaching page, so I clicked on it to see where the location might be. Well, it's New South Wales, Austalia. So I'm not rightly sure what the heck they're saying in their posts. BUT.... there is for sure a talking dog!!!

Obviously I am PREMIUM... as if you didn't know that. ;-) I like the fact it is 9,000 miles from my home coordinates. LOL!

OK, will copy the dog talk here. I marked it in BOLD!!!! Like I said, this is Australia and god knows what they are talking about...

HO, HO, HO, it’s that time of the year again.

Welcome to the 2007 Tangles Christmas cache.

The three Christmas presents this year are a mystery and are wrapped in Christmas paper just to add a bit of suspense.

Be warned the cache isn’t a shop and there are no refunds once you have selected your present, there’s no swapping and only ONE present per GROUP.

The location should be easily reached via a fire trail with only about 160 metres of scrub to negotiate. No cliffs to scale or fall off but if you like that type of excitement walk a few extra metres. This is an ideal cache to do after spending the day in some of the nearby excellent canyons.

Note: The Waratah Ridge Road appears to be closed for traffic from S33°23.879' E150°15.330' while logging is being carried out so check your maps as some of the alternative tracks can be slippery after the rain.

Additional Hints ( Encrypt )
Behind rocks in a small hollow.

The Waratah Ridge Trail is open and freshly graded so its an easy drive in a normal car now.

With a Tangles cache you can always expect something special. And wow did Tangles deliver here. Great views, a top spot for sure. The track wasn't as bad as I had feared, although the final hundred metres was a little scatchy.
From here it was off to continue with the weekend's main activity; canyoning!

Cheers for another adventure!

Well Hoojar and I gave this a go after canyoning and geez what a corker. We negotiated the roads to the cache location and were rewarded with some absolutely top views of some nearby pagoda country. Superb location and a great cache- bit scratchy just at the end though!

We tried for this cache also last week but again the wrong forbie, so this time we blazed the trial to the end in the Paj !
Wow even though it only short walk the bush is intense but lucky enough I found a path of sorts that went the right way sort of(a little right then off to the left, hehe) raeched GZ to find the coord spot on and the cache was in hand quick!
Open and logged as it's third visitor, so there was 1 prezzy left!
Thanx heaps guys we got the 50, top stuff !! We dont know to many that would be this generous.
So a belated Merry Christmas and again thanx for a top cache in a top spot, nice work. Mr & Mrs Router

Anymore? The only way a dog 'talks' is by whining, barking, or growling. Putting words in their mouth is just a stupid human trick.

OK, I will attempt to translate. The geocache was apparently one put out that contained three Christmas presents (we have had a gift cache around here, too, which then reverts to a regular cache in the off-season).

I take it the Scenic Routers (or Senic Routers as "ack son of hack" calls them) got the last of the freebie Christmas gifts in the cache. So Ack is complaining that apparently doggie was hoping to get a juicy bone as a present but didn't.

Sound right?

LMAO! And now I have a new role of translating Australian doggie talk.
