Yes.
bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks
~new window opens~
File > import > check internet explorer and follow the directions

After you get your bookmarks set up go

Tools > add-ons >
~window opens~
Get extensions
~opens new tab~
Look for an add-on called Ad-block plus. Install that and get used to using it and your browsing will be soooo much nicer.

It does more than that.
It gives you control over what appears on your screen. When I go to TT I see no ads at all. I've stripped them completely off the page.

I've even blacklisted particular ad servers. I never see their ads in any context ever.

Doesn't just save them, but brings up any email (in a chain), that relates to the email you receive. It's kinda cool.
And, no one ever dumps your sent or trashed emails.

You can also create category folders and automatically send emails to the proper category.

I recommend the following add ons

add block plus = eliminates all advertising, just install one of the recommended filter sets and it does all the work for you.

Fasterfox
= speeds up Firefox by prefetching.

Smoothwheel = makes page scrolling smooth instead of twitchy.

Forecastfox
= local weather at the lower right of your browsing window.

Paste Quote
= highlight and copy text, right click gives you option to paste quote. It automatically adds
tags
(doesn't work on trail talk)

I have others but these are the most used.

Get the FilterG add-on too. It's am add-on to the add-on Add-block(+). The FilterG updates the rule sets that do the filtering in Adblock+

If you want to see the plugins intalled for Firefox click inside the URL (clear it) and type about: plugins. For geeky configuration options type about: config

The last one is what a lot of the plugins change for you (in a graphical way).

yep, I have been a firefox convert for sometime now. Thats why I just laugh when I see people complaining about the ads on TT. What ads? lol. But just like the other browsers some sites you visit won't work well on firefox so keep another browser available for those.

hyway, Firefox has an add on called "User Agent Switcher" which emulates other browsers if needed. It will emulate IE7, Opera or Netscape.

That's because your web based systems are coded poorly. It shouldn't matter what browser you are using.

Sometimes I think so too.

I'm sorry if I offended you but the standard in web development is cross browser code.
