Some advice on hiking in VA
I'm hiking Cedar Run/White Oak Canyon on Saturday and camping at Big Meadows that night (It opens Friday).
On Sunday, should I hike Old Rag for the second time, or hike the Rapidan Camp Laurel Prong Hazelton Loop? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Fool! ;)

I try not to go back to the same place twice unless i have a special reason for doing so (like maybe a different season or something)

Hmmmmm...I would go by the weather. On a nice sunny day, I would do Old Rag for the views. On a not-so-sunny day, I would do the Rapidan Camp hike. But watch out for the rattlesnacks down by the cabins. They like to sun themselves on those big rocks.

It was nice to meet you and your pretty wife last night! Hope to hike with you guys some day.

Hello CD. Thanks..

Nice meeting you as well, but as for the lady, don't tell anybody, but she's not my wife... SHHHH

And let me know about the McAfee Knob trip.. You can drive with me..

Oops, thought she was your wife.

Yes, we should definately car pool. If I go, I won't be able to leave until mid-day on Friday. I will let you know for sure.
