Everyone was up until a whole 9:45 that night.” 1:09:35 PM 6/10/08 “Had to work............................” 1:10:53 PM 6/10/08 “Excuses excuses. ;)” 1:53:36 PM 6/10/08 “Forgot about the blueberries in those darn delicious cakes - you're lucky they weren't served with some good ol' cowboy coffee - Chowda can get a little frisky on coffee Did I just speak in first person - f*ck me” 3:36:16 PM 6/10/08 “It was way too early... ...for coffee. Y'all were on trail by the time the coffee was ready. Jackstraw, High Priest of the Brewed Bliss. Bless him and his Kilt. :) Next time.” 4:28:52 PM 6/10/08 “I survived. I've been running hard ever since I got back. I think I was the only one dumb enough to take a camera on the hike, here is some pics of the trail http://picasaweb.google.com/1travelinjones/BearmagathonHike This was a fun trip, when I first got there I felt like I was crashing a private party but everyone made me feel very welcome. Spindle made me a really good blue drink, and patched me up. thanks! I will also ditto the great job PARridgerunner did planning this thing. The only dissappointment to me (besides my dismal performance) was that there we not more hikers there, y'all missed a great opportunity to test your endurance and have people there to watch your back. Oh, and yeah, raise money to fight cancer! WWBF, you da man! I really enjoyed meeting you all and hope to see you again. I was surprised that no one wanted to take the hot shower, I guess, years ago, folks were leary of the first telephone they ever saw! last edited: 6/11/08 8:39:48 PM” 8:36:31 PM 6/11/08 “So you ARE alive! Excellent. The hot shower is interesting. If it wasn't 95* I'd have been in that instead of the creek. :) Next time I'm bringing girly soap. Oh and there will be more blue drinks. You trust me, right?” 8:54:51 AM 6/12/08 “Trust......................huh?” 9:17:15 AM 6/12/08 “We just met and he let me feed him tequila. He's brave. :)” 10:59:47 AM 6/12/08 “Wabo-ritas?” 11:25:13 AM 6/12/08 “I wish. Same formula, only with Quervo. CP didn't make me any this trip. :<” 11:38:10 AM 6/12/08 “Bad, CP! He should be punished. I think a kilted hike would work. And make him bring Chase. A kilted man with a border collie...helloooooo nurse.” 12:22:51 PM 6/12/08 “Yeah. Bad CP! A nice Red Stewart tartan would be in order, I think. Noooo...the Marines tartan! Perfectly perfect.” 12:36:41 PM 6/12/08 “Y'all are sick!” 12:48:27 PM 6/12/08 “I know you didn't just figure that out, MarkO.” 1:13:30 PM 6/12/08 “It's certainly not new news. Hm. Now that I'm thinking about it, we don't have a MarkO kilt pic in our collection either. If you would please sir. Any background is fine but we're partial to hiking boots. Thank you.” 1:36:03 PM 6/12/08 “All this kilt talk makes me wonder..... if I had worn a kilt would I have needed to borrow some baby stuff to put on my chaffing...um....areas ??? Luckily there was a baby present. I owe little liam a beer (when he turns 21)” 6:13:44 PM 6/12/08 “Probably not. Yay Liam!” 8:22:29 PM 6/12/08 “You trust me, right?” Sure I do. You did a fine job patching up my arm! I didn't have time to take the bandage you put on until tues morning, .... it looked great. Fell on my ass again on monday and landed right on my arm just like I did on the trail. I don't like those shoes as much as I did. Wet traction sucks, even if they are comfortable.” 5:32:04 AM 6/13/08 “I'm glad the diaper cream helped, Crazy! Pennsy said that you also needed to borrow a diaper, b/c you were such a baby, btw. HAHAHA.” 5:38:14 AM 6/13/08 “I do admit I was whining a bit, but did not cry, although my eyes watered a bit when I sat a certain way. Pennsy overheated like an old car. He needs a coolant flush to get out all the Yuengling Lager deposits clogging up his system!” 6:56:53 AM 6/13/08 “Yeah I bet! ENS keeps singing the Dixie Chicks song "Cowboy Take Me Away." Should I be worried?” 7:23:49 AM 6/13/08 “He'll need an entirely dirrent kinda flush to get that out of his system!” 7:41:04 AM 6/13/08 “ENS keeps singing the Dixie Chicks song "Cowboy Take Me Away." Should I be worried?” Be afraid. Be very afraid. Ps: A man should never sing Dixie chicks period !! Make him stop.” 8:02:55 AM 6/13/08 “HAHAHAHA! :-D” 8:14:35 AM 6/13/08 “1camper, time for the shoes to go. Did you need to go get stitches for that? ENS is singing Dixie Chicks? nonononono Make him go do something butch, STAT.” 8:21:20 AM 6/13/08 “I've been pretty busy this week - my mother took a turn for the worse while I was gone - but I will try to post some pics soon. In the meantime, I have acquired a pair of gaiters that I would love to swap for a portable radio battery that is still missing. If you have unpacked everything and have knowledge of either of these items, maybe you need to pay a visit to the lost and found counter.” 8:17:15 PM 6/13/08 “No stiches, looked great last I saw it, I've been real busy. The bruise was more painful than the cut, just itchy now. I love the Dixie Chicks too, "cowboy.." is not my favorite song, I sing "cold day in july".” 5:42:29 AM 6/14/08 “cfy7h bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn b b” 11:46:22 AM 6/14/08 “Liam! What's up dude?” 2:56:30 PM 6/14/08 << back to Bearmagethon Tribute Hike page
