Wow, Elfish, for a backpacking pedophile you are amazingly perceptive having arrived at all that knowledge from my two posts! I am now completely humiliated and probably won't ever post on this thread again.

Forklift Elvis gives trolls a bad name. I personally think it is someone who is too cowardly to speak out loud.

People with issues like that sort of scare me.

I kinda like looking through Backpacker if for no other reason than to giggle...love the heavy pack recommendations! and, under the "trip finder:stay-dry spring hikes" they listed the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness in Michigan's UP...I loved that they suggested a loop which included Correction Line Trail...ha! this is known as one of the muddiest, wettest, dirtiest spring trails in the whole park if not the whole UP...someone is going to be in for a big surprise but it won't be me!

I do not get out as much as I wish I could...health issues really slow me down...that said, Backpacker gives me at least a little fix in the way of some decent pictures and much wishful thinking. Now I can afford to take the dream trips I couldn't do in the past my health stops me dead in the water...major irony...

Forklift George why do you keep digging yourself in deeper?

Perhaps you intend to never hike with TT'ers again.
In that case why not just bugger off and leave TT alone?

Being a life member of American Hiking Society gets me a subscription for...life.

That said since I get it, I read it, then put it in the recycle bin.

I haven't looked at Backpacker Magazine in over ten years.
I don't do magazines, George.

Yes George, I remember that you were at Bear Heaven last summer and at North Fork Trail three years ago.

Fridge told me about your idea of a good time.
Huh, yeah? Remember..............dude?????
He also told me about your taking advantage of his generousity on the Colorado trip last summer.

What's up, you think you have too many friends and it's time to piss 'em off and get rid of a bunch to lighten your load?

Damn! This thread was actually pretty good!

Here's my scoop: I know that most of you still read the magazine...I do!

I know that all of you guys complaining about the molestation article actually read the the whole thing because it was a good article...I did!

The only thing that I can't stand about the rag is the fact that I am terribly jealous of all the hiking and testing the staff gets to do!

I read the whole story. I didn't like it, but won't knock it too bad because I wish they would have more stories, and less whoring. I do have a subscription, but when I came home and saw it laying on the table that is where I left it... for the last week. The cover teasers are just like all the rest for the last couple months. Snore. Maybe I'll pick it up while I'm waiting for the washer to finish tonight. Then again, maybe I'll pick up Ed Vistures book No Shortcuts To The Top, and try to finish it. It'll probably be more interesting. So would trimming my toenails with an 8" circular saw.

dude spam man, it is good to know you are being honest about the magazine. most here posting are telling a lie about not reading the magazine, trying to be political correct to impress all there friends here. da mag had record sales and is the top backpacking forum ever in the history of america.

Tucker Joe is not one of the Boy Scout Leader who were the only adults sharing my campsite on Jericho Walls. That means TuckerJoe is also not posting the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. And an internet transvestite to boot. I'm shocked.

dude ens, i will give you the biggest hint here. dude, lets say i am a troll and looking at my profile page at the date i signed up a few years back. think now dude ens, if i am a troll and know so much about all you tt'rs would you think i may have been around here as my real name from the beginning dude. dude, i have not only given you the biggest hint but have narrowed the possibilities as to who joined many years ago reading all these posts as each of you signed up as puppies and little kids dude.
dude, we will hike very soon dude. mr ens dude , you are one of the best of all tt'rs on the trail, no fret and no problem with you . dude, i am so tired of all the trash here on trail talk dude. i have watched this site change and grow and now seems like a flat time going on now dude. do not stop backpacking dude, and get that little one out there as soon as possible on day hikes on your shoulders dude.
