“Matt at Latta Outdoors informed me that there was 2 different Trail Names with my ISP address, ICE BOX.....also....Elise conformed that Fork Lift elvis also had the same ISP address.....so I contacted the authorities ...both Matt and elise would not give me the e mail addresses they used toset up the account.....several ways to get your ISP... one easy way is through an e mail..........I have at least 75 TT in my address book.....

I now have a different ISP...........also a couple others have had the same problem... they will come out hopefully soon.”

“I have no idea who all is banned if anyone thus far...I can tell you this.ForkLift elvis used my ISP address way back JULY 2007 to gain his place here....I wish elise would give me his e mailaddress he used .

I had a security issue that could have been much worse.

REI and Campmor has also sent me e mails with several attempts to log on with my user name to gain access my credit card info.........they could not....

I had the troll 'TuckerJoe' on ignore.
I then noticed that posts from a 'TuckerJoe' were showing up on the same thread as the "ignored" 'TuckerJoe'. There were at least two 'TuckerJoes'.”

“ignore refers only to the trail name. Change the trail name, the ignore needs to be reset. So the IPS addy is not the issue for ignore.

The fake log-on's are problematic but don't be too quick to blame a TT'r. After all this is a public forum and anyone has access to it. If you have an ISP based e-mail in your profile for contact (as opposed to web based like yahoo or hotmail or google for example) the ISP is easy to discern. From there, it is fairly easy to try log on names as many people use the same names for many different accounts.”

At the time, I could see no difference between the "names".

“That sucks Fridge that someone cleaned out your PayPal. The best thing is to get the authorities involved and get a lawyer to subpoena the records from any site the troll visited while using your IP address. Some ISP's have caller ID logs and will be able to tell who dialed up with your ISP from where.”

Actually Sarge very, very rarely completely loses it and says something that is worthy of getting him banned. He can be very provocative but rarely nasty as tilt is prone to do.”
