so to compute "net worth" they are taking the annual daily ad revenue for a day, calculating it for one year, then multiplying this for two years.

this is bogus for two reasons.

first, it isn't net worth because it doesn't take into account operating expenses. for all you know the site operates at a loss. "elise" has to be paid, a server has to be leased, an isp has to be paid for, etc, etc.

second, this assumes the ad revenues are constant based on time of day/day of week which is most certainly not the case. we all know the site is far more busy on the weekends than on the weekdays.
