“nevermind. i found it. looks like the first dependable re-supply is buena vista. the other grocery stores are marked with a question mark in wingfoot. anyways, if you go into buena vista, was an incredible mexican restaurant there in 04. its just called buena vista family restaurant, and its next to a motel, on the edge the trail-side of the town. weekends is buffet time”

“yea, i found it in wingfoot. its the southern boundary. thats a nice section from there to daleville

“harpers creek shelter is really nice if you get a chance to stop there. not much level ground but very pretty. matts creek shelter is also in a pretty spot

look for the ottie cline powell memorial at the top of bluff mt, about a mile and a half after punchbowl shelter. on the way down, youll have nice views of the james (brown) river”

“Harpers Creek shelter is in a nice spot. Very pretty. If you are camping, there is also a great camping area just south on the AT maybe 1/3 mile on your left. The spots are kind of cut into the side of the hill. Good water source a little more south on the AT - same creek that runs by the shelter.”
