The Accord will get around 52mpg and the Civic 65mpg and drivers will never have to add any urea like they do with the BlueTec diesels from Mercedes and VW. In descriptive statistics, a decile is any of the 9 values that divide the sorted data into 10 equal parts, so that each part represents 1/10th of the sample or population. Thus:
The 1st decile cuts off lowest 10% of data, i. e., the 10th percentile.
The 5th decile cuts off lowest 50% of data, i. e., the 50th percentile, 2nd quartile, or median.
The 9th decile cuts off lowest 90% of data, i. e., the 90th percentile.
