California Trips! So Cal and Eastern Si erra

“Just posted a few trips that I'm hoping to find partners for in So. Cal and the Eastern Sierra for this summer! Anybody want to come with? :)”

“You are going to a beautiful place if you are going to Big Pine Canyon. The Canyon reminds me of a Swiss Alps setting as far as the scenery goes. Also Lon Chaney Sr. built a cabin along the trail to the Palisades before it was designated a national forest. The cabin still exists now as a wilderness ranger cabin. You should check it out if you get the chance. Enjoy yourself there I know I would.

Starting near Forest Falls Fri AM using Vivian creek trail, camping at High Creek fri nite, summiting Sat morning, and back out Sat afternoon.
