“INDIANAPOLIS -- A nude man stood on his front porch and yelled at a woman walking on the street on Indianapolis' east side Thursday morning, resulting in his arrest, police said.

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. in the 2800 block of East Brookside Avenue, according to Indianapolis Metro police.

A witness called police after watching the ordeal unfold, police said.

The man, identified as Jerry Good, 63, was still nude when he answered the door for officers, according to police.

Police said Good admitted he had been outside of the home, but told them he was only out to make sure his girlfriend made it to a bus stop.

Officers said Good had been drinking.”

An intoxicated Athens man was arrested early Saturday morning in front of the downtown Athens-Clarke police substation after he reportedly kicked the front of one patrol car and jumped up and down on the hood of another, police said.

Gregory Robert Evans, 28, of Championship Drive, was charged with interfering with government property, intoxication and disorderly conduct following the 2:44 a.m. incident, police said.

Police said Evans was walking with a small group of men along Washington Street when he ran over to the patrol cars and began the assault. An Athens-Clarke bicycle patrol officer witnessed the attack, reports said.
