Hello everyone we had a great trip. The weather was wonderful great temps.NO RAIN and the trails were in great shape.

We started our trip at the Low Gap Trail Head in Morgan-Monroe and we had planned to meet at 10:00 local time but as with most TT Trips I have been on we got started a little late Hike-n-machine was the only one that got there on time as I too was a little late.Anyway here is who we started with Coyote,Windigrl,Hiknmachine, and last but not least windigrl"s son Drucifer on his first big adventure with the group.Attila had planned to meet us over at the last Trailhead on Richards so the 4 of us stike out on our hike we got so lucky with the weather it was a great day to hike.We made it over to Bear Lake and had Lunch there on the Dam it was a little windy. After we finished eating we noticed that a snake had got bound up in the plastic mesh the state had laid out on the dam to hold grass seed down.We tried to free the snake but we finally thought he would either get lose or become a tasty meal for another citter and maybe if he was still there in the morning make another attempt to free him.

We got rolling again headed on down there trail we got over to Richards Road and there was no sign of Attila and I wondered if I had gave him the right directions from 135 to get over there. So up the hill we go thinking great we only have 2 hills and we will be at the shelter. We reached the top of the first hill and going along and I could see Hiknmachine talking to another hiker along the trail and the closer I could see it was no other than Randall and I thought then and later told Hiknmachine that we now have entertainment for the night. We pumped some water and headed up the hill to the shelter and got settled in for the night.

Then came Randall and Attila with his son Maximus the great tree climber. We had a great campfire and enjoyed some good stories and songs form Randall and Attila.Great time guys.

We woke up and I asked the guys that were going back to Low Gap Trail if the wanted to Bushwack down the creek after we got back to the Low Gap Trail and we all agreed and I wanted to do that see what all was back there looked like a good deer run maybe I'll vist it in the fall.

Well as I told everyone on the Campout that I'm grounded for a couple of weeks and cannot come out to play for awhile.I counted up the nights I have been out this year and this was NUMBER 19 guess I shouldn't complain.Hey I'll get some of the honey do's done and we do it again.

I would like to do the whole trail sometime in the Fall.

Great trip! Drucifer had a great time. He enjoyed meeting everyone. He already wants to go on another one. He will be joining me for trail days. That should be interesting.
Thanks Coyote for planning this one.
