I REALLY like my iPhone.
Everyone that I know who has the Blackberry likes them.

I hate when I get an email from someone's blackberry and it says "Sent from my Verizon Blackberry" at the bottom.

I don't know why it bothers me but it does. Perhaps it's jealousy that I don't have a crackberry myself.

The one they furnish me at work. Otherwise I wouldn't own one.

I have the LG EnV and really like it ~ suits my needs perfectly. Plus, the full keyboard makes it much easier to send a text.

I bought my daughter the Venus and I can't think of anything that it can't do to include storing MP3'S. She loves it and she's not electronically challenged like me!

Cell phones are the debil.
I just spent an hour on the phone with Sprint. My contract runs out in November. I saw a special where I could upgrade my current phone for a new ic602 Buzz for $50. Seeing as my current phone is about to #&%!$ the bed, I figure why not.

Well I call them because I had some questions. I wanted to know if this extended my current plan. They told me it did. Next the guy tries to get me to upgrade my plan. He asks me if I wanted free text. I laughed at him. I send/receive maybe one text message every 3 months. I don't give a rats ass about text messaging.

We finally get through everything and start the order, but something wouldn't let it go through. Turns out the upgrade discounts only apply for plans $34 a month and higher. I pay $33 a month. I'd have to "upgrade" my plan. The upgraded plan would be $20 more a month and 150 minutes less than what I have now. What a rip off.

sprint has, hands down, the best cell signal and performance in the chicagoland area. they also have pretty close to the WORST customer support. basically i LOVE my sprint service but do anything i can do to keep from calling them. it's always a nightmare beyond any description. my latest "transaction" was adding a cell phone for my son to my shared plan. i did it all on the web... easy enough... and my new phone arrived... then it took almost two weeks and many phone calls to activate the phone... plus i was forced to select a new plan. something that should have taken 10 minutes (to activate a phone I purchased) should NOT take two weeks. i got conflicting information from people, even from "managers" in their call centers. it was terrible... but now that it works the phone is awesome.

the alternative... at&t (NO WAY!! been there and not only does their cell service suck but their SERVICE sucks... like sprint but without at least the quality product), verizon (terrible), us cellular... great service but not a nationwide carrier.

i guess in my mind it's not so bad to suck as long as you have a quality product. yep, that sums up my relationship with sprint fairly well.

Verizon has been more consistant than Sprint in the outdoors - never had a CS problem to report - calling TN, NY, CT, HI, OH, CA etc.
Even gave me free service on renewal.
I've been with them going on 4 years with very few dropped calls.

verizon has very poor cdma signal strength in downtown chicago buildings. my verizon data card for my pc frequently would not have enough speed or signal to do work at my customers sites. a switch to sprint and BOOM that problem was resolved.

i have never had verizon for voice service, only data.

This shouldn't surprise me. This is exactly the same thing Verizon did to me 2 years ago when I switched to Nextel. Although this time I don't have some 20 something sales person laughing at me because my phone is so old.
