“How many discs do you really need? I went to the store at lunch today and the guy tried to get me to buy 5 or 6 of them. I just bought a driver and a putter though. Maybe one day if and when I get good, I'll have a use for all kinds of fancy discs. Btw, I have probably played 5 times in my life, but I have some recently found free time and would like to start playing more frequently. There's not a whole lot to do outside around here, and this is one of the few things I can get my friends to do with me that doesn't invole a barstool.” 11:50:38 AM 5/05/08 “Used to play in college all the time. We just used one frisbee.” 11:53:00 AM 5/05/08 “I have played with a guy who is on some sort of tour.. This was 4 years ago... He told me 3 was all he needed... 'fool” 11:59:58 AM 5/05/08 “I just have 1, my driver. It flies straight so why would I need anything else? Throw it hard it goes far, throw it soft it goes not so far. Pretty simple.” 12:27:23 PM 5/05/08 “That's what I'm thinking. When I played a few times before I noticed my driver was getting beat up quickly and I presumed it was because of the chains. That's the only reason I bought a putter. Other than that, I think a straight flyer is gonna do it for me.” 12:47:50 PM 5/05/08 “crazy mike used to play a lot. talk to him” 5:43:04 PM 5/05/08 “I've been playing for years. I have probly 40-45 discs. I found all but about 15 of them though. When you play, your skill level changes and you may want different discs as your "swing" changes. Different discs do dramaticaly different things. You can play with one disc. I have and my score doesnt change much. Its just fun to experiment if you play more often.” 3:13:28 PM 5/06/08 “You said what I was thinking. I guess it's kind of like how I could easily get by owning one tent, but for some reason I have a whole room full of em.” 6:50:42 PM 5/06/08
