Bald Eagle State Forest 5/6/08

Went out for the night last night to get some hang time. The Bald Eagle State Forest has designated campsites which can be very nice. This is one of my favorites. Moving to a hammock has given me a new way to look at trees.

I got there about 7:30 p and had about enough time to set up before it started to get dark. The whole point of the outing was to sleep in the hammock so the fact that I got there late made no difference to the intent.

It went up rather nicely considering I haven't hung it that much. Once I got all my gear into it it was well onto twilight.

I go back there this weekend. This time for a weekend. If anybody wants to join me you are welcome. Just let me know cause I have to change the number of people on the permit. But that's just a phone call.”
