Mother's Day Weekend at the Gorge VI 200 9

“Hey guys! I found myself in RRG this weekend on an impromptu hike even though I said I couldnt make this one. I tried to track you folks down twice, but had no luck. Did everyone bail due to the wx? Where did you camp?”

“We all canceled because you couldn't go! ;)”

“Meangreen...you were there? We ended camping at Koomer Riddge. We were all there by Friday afternoon. Bummer that we missed you!”

“Actually I wound up there on Saturday night too - too much damned rain where I was going to go in far south WVa, coming back from the SEFTC meeting in SE Ky. I think I was headed for the walkin sites but the campground host redirected me to the other side. I did a little hike on Sun AM - maybe 4 miles before 9 a.m. then hit the road for PA.”

“Hey UP!!! I got a new phone and never had all the files transfered, so I lost a bunch of numbers. Shoot me an e-mail, and I'll get it entered straight away.
Bummer we missed you two. We were planning on staying on Cloud splitter Saturday night, but the wx was flat ugly, so we got a room at Lil' Abner's Motel just N. of Miguels. Oh well. My partner was ready for a shower and a real bed after spending the previous night on Hansens point, and a short trip up to Natural Bridge. Good news thoough... she wants to go again! I guess I didn't break her completely. LOL! The four of us should do a trip together. I bet she'd like stokely, and she'd prolly even tollerate you as long as you sorta be have. ;) LOL!
