Peak1 Lantern Troubleshooting
Guys and Gals:

I have an older (circa 1990) peak1 liquid fuel coleman backpacking lantern that seems to have developed a leak behind the on/off valve. any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Look here

Just a little packing, cheap and easy.

My Coleman gear is older than most people on TT (and many of them combined). I have changed most parts like those mentionned, both on stoves and lanterns.

Don't forget to put the paste on the male part to prevent leaking (should be available from the same place).

Heads up for Canucks camping in the US and for Americans camping in Canada - American and Canadian Coleman parts are often not interchangeable.
