Thanks fer the offer. That sounds like the best place to park. I would either ride in with Crash or just take a cab from your house and back

“The nps site for glacier national park likely has some good grizzly country 'basic practices'... Denali's probably does as well.

basics - cook well away from your sleep area, at least 100 yards (although the designated sites in glacier aren't that far away). Hang (or otherwise store) your clothes that you cooked in overnight - Keep clean, food-smell-free clothes to sleep in.

Sleep with your bear spray close at hand.

Be sure you can outrun fridge.

“sleeping upwind from your food and cooking area is a good idea, too. captain jack told me about some detergent/spray that you can treat your camp clothes, tent, etc with to remove any food and other smells. should arrive tomorrow by ups. i'll be treating my hiking clothes with permethrin, too

not so sure sleeping with your bear spray is a good idea. after all, i'm sure it's a smellable and will only attract a bear. whattaya gonna do if a bear attacks you in your tent? spray him then? then it's all over your tent and if you survive the encounter, youre grizbait for sure the next night”

coz it's sealed.

think about it man - it's under LOTS of pressure in that can - it's sealed up TIGHT.

it's not a smellable - not even a little bit.

Besides, your at your most vulnerable when your asleep at night. You've got a bear in camp - don't you want your bear spray close by instead of hung up in a tree with your food?”

That's all well and good, but you don't need but one bullet - unless you want to have enuff for your friends too, but I don't think you'll have that much time if push comes to shove.

Swear - its NOT smellable - it's PERFECTLY safe to have in your tent.
