Leaving in the AM for Connersville, then heading to Indy on Tuesday to meet Crash at Sam's 12:30 PM Local time. I will not have any computer access at my mom’s so Crash if you need to get in touch with me, call me on my cell!!!

Fridge will be the slowest with his kiloton backpack so crash has a chance of surviving a bear attack as he will run faster.”

Sounds like an awesome trip! Sure wish I could go back to Alaska one of these days Thinkbubelz and I loved our hike in Denali. Next time, we hope to hit some other parts of Alaska....

If it didn't get so dark there in the winter and if it didn't have one of the worst economies in the nation, I would love to live there.....

“Yeah, a heavy pack doesn't seem to slow Fridge down. Did they really leave the bear fence behind after all that?”

“If they follow all the bear country precautions, particularly using bear-proof food storage and cooking away from their camp, they should have no problem. They will likely receive or have already received indoctrination from park service folks as to how to handle things.

Besides, with MarkO along, he should be able to scare bears away by showing off his nekkid diving skills.

“I just got a cal from them too. Actually my wife got a call from them lol. I had used fridge's phone to call her on the Tinker Cliffs trip so he had it stored. Like dub said, they have a lot of pics, something like 1500 (at 5 seconds per pic its going to take over 2 hours to view them all :))
