Upper Rock Run Gorge- TR

Yesterday I ventured for a bushwhack into the Upper Rock Run Gorge. The day began hot and sunny, but as we entered the gorge, it began to get very dark as thunder rippled through the clouds.

It soon began to pour as lightning blasted around us; a tree even collapsed across the creek.

Fortunately, the rain passed and I could take a few shots of this hidden gem in PA's Loyalsock State Forest. It was very misty. As I got back in the car, it began to rain again. Great time!

Nice pictures. They must have had some good rain out there and the stream looks like it's running well. The streams around here are much lower.
