I’m thinking of doing an Adirondack combined paddling and hiking trip probably in September. Would like to paddle across Lake Placid and then climb Whiteface Mountain (possible do the slide). I just wanted to see if there was any interest before posting a trip.

Lake Placid has its own relative of Nessie.

Nay, it's a giant pike. They don't call 'em gaters for nothing.
