Sorry Euro but it has boggled me for years. All I can figure is that the stretch bag just left less "bag" for me to have to warm. I was amazed

It never occured to me that you're such a petite person that you may have trouble filling and warming a regulare bag :-)
Maybe I sleep warm because I stay fairly active during sleep. I tend to turn, toss and roll a lot. That probably stretches most bags to the limits and sometimes the patience of co-sleepers.

Some people are more relaxed and calm.

Chocolate in the sleeping Bag? I hope you were not in bear country! Bears do not always sleep all the winter. Some bears walk in their sleep, semi-sleep or wide awake.

Yeah, I wish I would calm down during sleep.

Maybe I am a bear? At times I am probably only semi-asleep. I don't wander around though.

XL, one question: what are you wearing in your sleeping bag, other than a lightweight liner?

I wear a "body armor" type long long sleeve shirt in the winter and either light weight thermals or a body armor type pant. I know the whole "sleep naked vs clothed thing" but I just find it more comfortable.

Granted there are a couple of times everynow and then I do sleep naked...

Okay, the last couple of times I slept fully dressed in the bag. At least that way, if I had to get out of the bag at night, I was ready for fight or flight.

It also depends on "who" you are sleeping with...(LOL)

i sleep in my long underwear. in winter my long underwear is fleece. this way i don't have to dress to go outside and pee.

I'm with ya dizz. the only time i don't wear long undies in the bag is when its the summertime, if it's hot. then I'll usually wear a pair of shorts.

Whoa!
I sleep in my long underwear, too!

Is that cosmic or what?

Heh-heh, it keeps the bag clean.

No way...me too! Except in summer...then it's shorts! I can't believe this. We all agree on something. Mark the calendar!

I have a WM -20 bag, the quality is excellent, my coldest so far with it is 10 degrees, and it was very cozy.

I agree with Diz's post...I always have something for midnight "coffee release" breaks.

I sleep with a nalgene that I fill with hot water. That way I also have warm water to drink when I get thirsty.
