Hahaha. Oh, this is swell.

Palin thinks Pledge written by Founding Fathers

Palin's response to a candidate questionnaire for the Alaska 2006 gubernatorial race:

11. Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?

SP: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.

Hurrah for another genius in the White House!

Frankly, you don't know if she did or not, since the MSM didn't cover her behavior. Which, BTW, I think is proper. As far as the young lady being pregnant. I think that the announcement that she is pregnant, should have been the end of it. I don't see where it is an issue to be discussed ad nauseum.

Of course you libbies must be crapping in your panties about now trying to figure out how to regain your rightful position as the keeper of the worlds moral values.

Funny, you have Obama/Biden as a ticket, and you think McCain is too old. Think you'd do better to come up with some reason that Obama/Biden are qualified. Good luck with that, by the way.

I think there's a VERY strong connection there between Chelsea Clinton, drunkeness, and her getting knocked up, but I'm just not seeing it.

Obama not very qualified, however if McCain wins then, god forbid, dies in office, what happens then? I know all rebublicans will say she can do it, but honestly, she will be running the country. To me, that is much scarier. Think I would rather have Bush as the permanant President.

Much as you like to deny it, the problem here is not one of morals, it's the decision making and judgment of McCain and his VP choice.

Right Y2, however, Republicans will say the same thing about Obama. In fact, I have heard many say that she is 10 times more qualified than Obama.

She is a religous nut job and that scares the crap out of me. She can kill all the carabou, bears, bald eagles she wants to, just don't start preaching to me.

The whole daughter having a child thing scares me to. Yes the media is blowing it way out of proportion, however they need to stop having reporters ask the stupid people at the convention what they think if it. It is great that she is choosing to have the child, however these people make it sound like it is no big deal. I have seen first hand what happens when KIDS have children and try to get married. It doesn't work out and 13 years later when the baby is a young woman, all kinda problems surface. The parents hate each other and use the kid and a pawn in an ugly split up.

That is what makes me sick. The kid will go unloved and be screwed up for life because the mother doesn't have an abortion or put the kid up for adoption.

Anyone notice on Palin's wiki page that her first son was born 8 months after the wedding? She was 24 though, so a bit different than 17. Just an observation.

If McCain is elected, she may or may not become president. Frankly, either way is better that Obama becoming president or worse yet, Biden becoming president. I don't see any connection between her daughter having a baby and her qualifications for vice president.

What parent in their right mind would drag their kid into their own political aspirations? She'd better concentrate on how to teach her child how to be a good unwed mother because we all know that the Republican agenda wants to slash funding for the social system to do it. Not to mention that it's another mouth for her to feed...

Of course...he could serve 2 terms and go down as the greatest Pres. the country has ever had. There is a chance though that it could happen, that is what scares me.

Politically speaking, I was not trying to link the baby issue. It should have no play in the election. I just wish the press would stop reporting on it. I will say it now that nothing good will come out of it. The young parents to be will either not get married or will divorce and the kid will be in the middle. Then the press will be all over it again, especially if McCain wins the election.

WK, that's some tough words applying stereotypes to these individuals like that.

Religious nut job? Based on what?

My best friend in hs got his gf pregnant about the time we graduated. They got married, had the child, and went on to have 2 more. He and his wife graduated from college. She's a hs english teacher and he's a head football coach at a hs in the same area. Their daughter graduates this year. Mom and dad are still together and from all I know happy as can be.

There are success stories in those circumstances. I agree that the deck is substantially stacked against them. If the "typical" situation has a 50% failure rate, I wonder what the teen rate works out to be? I haven't a clue, but know more than one other situation that is working well like the one I mentioned above.

Well, well, well. It just gets more and more interesting. And now wifey wants to be no. 2 at the...GASP...FEDERAL LEVEL? What will this do to their marriage?

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, twice registered as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a fierce states' rights group that wants to turn all federal lands in Alaska back to the state. Sarah Palin herself was never a member of the party, according to state officials.

Questions about a third-party link to John McCain's new running mate emerged Tuesday as the latest issue facing the McCain campaign in the midst of the Republican National Convention.

It's gonna be a stellar, bang-up night at the convention.

Bush kept a 1,000 miles away, will give a stunning oratory via video tape (Dick wasn't even invited);

Acting hack and washed up political nobody Freddie Thompson will espouse the virtues of his toupee;

Another failed contender, Rudy "9-11" Guiliani, will no doubt continue trying to rebuild his crumbled political career built on the backs of the victims;

And MUCH more! Stay tuned!!!!!

I thought it was interesting that nobody made much of a deal out of the Democrat convention, then I realized that it was cause nobody watched it. It was so totally uninteresting.

But they do still have Obama/Biden.

I'm trying to find out if its true, but she is quoted as having said,

"God made dinosaurs 4,000 years ago as ultimately flawed creatures, lizards of Satan really, so when they died and became petroleum products we, made in his perfect image, could use them in our pickup trucks, snow machines and fishing boats."

If its true, WK's term "religious nut job" would be reasonably justifiable. If not, I got a good laugh anyway.
