Obama 352
McCain 171
Ties 15

Obama was already ahead when he started and he increased his lead in every area that matters to the voters. Many observers have said all along this is Obama's race to win or lose and there is nothing John McCain can do about it. The voters are sick and tired of George Bush and his enablers and angry about the direction the country is going. They desperately want change. The only issue is whether Obama is up to the job. The Republicans have thrown everything including the kitchen sink at him, but he has come off as cool (in at least two ways), knowledgeable, and completely unflappable. There will be more complete polls in the next few days, but Obama probably closed the deal last night.

Enjoy the silence.

They're licking their wounds, but soon FreeRepublic.com will give them some new talking points and they'll be back to begin the president-elect bashing.

Sorry, I narrowed it to FreeRepublic, but I didn't include all the other talking point generators:

Boortz, Limbaugh, Savage, etc.

I'm equally amused that B-U-S-H-I-T-E-S is censored.

Seriously, Phaedrus. Give them credit for the broadly read group they are.

It was also the whiniest, particularly from McCain, who cast himself early on as the victim of unfair attacks despite weeks of slashing Obama for assorted past associations."

The survey, of 507 uncommitted voters, found 22% saying McCain won the debate, while 53% saw Obama winning and 24% said it was a tie.

“Obama's Farrakhan Problem

Barack Obama has a Louis Farrakhan problem and not because of his endorsement from Farrakhan. Instead, it is because of Obama's more-than-passing association with Farrakhan and those who are close to the Nation of Islam leader. In spite of Farrakhan's long history as a racist, bigot and anti-Semite, Obama thought favorably enough of him to join Farrakhan's 1995 march on Washington, D.C.”

If Obama ever wears a bowtie they'll be howling at the Moon. Such is the state of their abilities to reason at this point.

I say again..... Triple Obama's protective detail.

In the last 1/2 century we've had two Bushes and a Johnson. A Perry would hardly fit the theme (unless you want to go play with his middle name.)

Obamas disapproval hit 54% in Gallups three-day running averages. He also fell to 39% approval of the job he is doing. Both marks are records for Obama. His approval is at its lowest. His disapproval is at its highest. In other words, he is at negative 15%. If Obama were a TV show, he would be canceled.

Debate Parody
My favorite part of is the Obama rebuttal at 11 minutes 40 seconds - but there are some other amusing parts. I thought the Cain parody was weak.
