“The bad news is that I am going to get laid off.

The good news is that I have a job interview this week.

The bad news is that the interview is on Friday and I wanted to be in Linville on Friday.

The good news is...I don't have any more good news. I can't make this trip. I need a job and this sounds like a good one.
