There is an honesty issue. I would have preferred Palin to just say, "look what he was doing... how could I have asked my husband not to talk to these people about what he was doing to people we loved." The fact that he announced a decision just before the election could indicate where his allegiances lie. I suppose it could also reflect strong convictions about the truth.

This one hasn't my convictions on who to vote for, but the choice of Palin did make my decision that much easier.”
