Third - I listened carefully and yeah it sounds like it said she wants to see her State succeed. So yeah, that goes beyond the evidence. Her husband was a registered member of the Alaskan Independence Party and she is at lest on friendly terms with the party - so it is an irresponsible stretch to say she supports succession = almost as bad as her saying Obama pals around with terrorists or trying to tie him to the PLO because he was on friendly terms with a Palestinian (whose group got money from a group McCain chaired).”

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A report has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner.
Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board.
