Many folks act as though this election has been the toughest election ever.

But, in 1968, there were assassinations, riots at conventions, a war with more casualties, etc.

Was there more tension during that election?”

“I would say the 1968 election was indeed a more troubling time, but I'm not a geezer yet. Kennedy and King were dead and we ended up with Nixon.”
