Some might say Obama is soft on crime.

Based on the following link and some of his comments excusing his cabinet nominees I say he supports crime.

Bush just handed out the cash with no strings attached. No accountability. I sure hope the funds that are associated with this are tracked.

Better yet, do not approve anything and see what happens.

RepubliCons are loyal to ideology, not America. They are true believers that will never acknowledge failure on their part or in their philosophy.
If there are problems with the economy then they are there not because Reganomics is a proven failure, but because those who were trying to implement it did so imperfectly. If there are problems in world affairs then they have happened not because of the bellicose behavior of the previous administration, but because they did not go far enough to push their policies forward. If President Obama's administration fails to stabalize the economy and we collaps into what may be called The Greatest Depression, it won't be because of their obstructionisim or the multi-trillion dollar deficit that they have left him, it will be because we are not letting them make enough tax cuts.

Subject: Fw: OBAMA'S FIRST NIGHT IN THE WHITE HOUSE

THE OBAMA'S FIRST NIGHT IN THE WHITE HOUSE

"What a day!"

"Phew, yeah...what a day!"

"I'm exhausted. Could you get the light, Barack?"

"Yes I can! I will not only get the light, I will shine the
light for all Americans and show them the way through the
darkness! It is a light that arises from the hopes and dreams
of the old and the young, the black and white and yellow and
red and brown, the gay and the straight, the rich and the
poor! It is a light on whose rays the promise of hope...and
opportunity...and achievement...all soar to a distant, brighter
future! But it will take all of us, working together in a
spirit of shared sacrifice and commitment, to make that light
a beacon of progress. And I say to you tonight: This is our
moment! This is our bedtime! This..."

"Oh fer god's sake never mind, I'll do it myself..."

Responsibility...Responsibility....

Can you define the meaning of the word "is"?

How bout the present level of corruption in the Administration?

OH and tilty...know when a Democrat takes responsibility....when he becomes convicted...or at least like your buddy Sir Charles goes off to the hoosekow...granted he is like any other criminal and still proclaiming his innocence.

I love how the "liberal areas" get all up in arms over some problem and "MAKE A POSTER"...never demand action from their elected officials...

Its a lot like the 50's beach movies where the problem was solved by a dance contest or a surf competition....it show a total lack of understanding of reality.

“RepubliCons are loyal to ideology, not America. They are true believers that will never acknowledge failure on their part or in their philosophy."

To suggest this as if republicans are the only slaves to ideology and are blindly lead means you are either a liar, or you are so deluded you have lost all touch with reality. So which is it?

Republicans and democrats are both exactly the same in ideological slavery.
Nigal

"Republicans and democrats are both exactly the same in ideological slavery."

That statement itself is a cop-out and a failure to acknowledge responsibility and a way of clinging to that failed Republican ideology saying "the other guys are just the same".

It is the very lack of flexibility that has scuttled the Republic Party's garbage scow.

Nigal is right on that...the solid "Yellow Dog Republicans" are no more acceptable than the Yellow Dog Democrats.

Both sides suffer from a "hey its our guy/gal in there we must support them".

You have Charles "Chuckie" Schumer saying people don't care about pork...Bovine Scatology..I think most people are appalled by the excesses. Granted the Republicans tend to get rid of their crooks slightly better than the dems.

Heck we have a Democrat State Senator in Augusta who I would support well over most of the Republicrats in my County. When the talking and jousting is over he goes up there to support his constituents.

The real truth is that most of the pols in Washington are lifers, they have lost contact with reality. Heck look at Daschle, while he was in the Senate his wifey was a HIGH PAID Lobbyist for the Air Lines and Air Industry...then SHOCKINGLY ENOUGH she gets...Administrator of the FAA.

Then when she gets finished granting breaks to her friends and moves back to Lobbying she is lobbying the Pit Yorkies collegues.

Dasch loses office she is free to lobby his old friends in the Senate...

AND NOT A WORD OUT OF THE LAP DOG MEDIA.

The American two party system is like taking a dump. Some days your shyt stinks worse than the next day but in the end it's still shyt.

This is the problem when someone attaches themselves to collective thought and theology. Be it politics or religion. You attach your wagon to the horse of you choice and that horse can do no wrong but everyone else's horse is an old, stubborn nag.

Both ends of the spectrum are guilty. For every Huffington there is a Lindbaugh. For every Hannity there is an Olberman. For every tilt there is a Stove Stomper. For every Bush there is an Obama.
Nigal

It's just as I said.

Obama is not the equal and opposite of Bush.
Saying that he is furthers the cop-out.

To me Obama should be held responsible for any and all mistakes and transgressions that are his.

When you get your BAC down a bit I think you will see I am agreeing with Nigal.

The Republicans were whipped in 08 because they left their principles. Sadly they still have not awakened to the fact that all they offer (as per GW) is the same thing at a slightly slower pace.

I was as excited about Bush and MCCain as Marky would be about a weekend without alchohol.

Let's discuss the issues....
"There is no disagreement that we need action by our government, a recovery plan that will help to jumpstart the economy."

— PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK OBAMA, JANUARY 9 , 2009
With all due respect Mr. President, that is not true.

Notwithstanding reports that all economists are now Keynesians and that we all support a big increase in the burden of government, we do not believe that more government spending is a way to improve economic performance. More government spending by Hoover and Roosevelt did not pull the United States economy out of the Great Depression in the 1930s. More government spending did not solve Japan's "lost decade" in the 1990s. As such, it is a triumph of hope over experience to believe that more government spending will help the U.S. today. To improve the economy, policy makers should focus on reforms that remove impediments to work, saving, investment and production. Lower tax rates and a reduction in the burden of government are the best ways of using fiscal policy to boost growth.
