Show of hands: who thinks it's cute when Tr*ll calls other people "goobers"?

It's OK for Georgia Democrat t*ltypoo to call people 'goober' because he is one.

I see, it's a regional thing. Do they say to each other, "what's up goober" or call each other "my goober" or say "goober, please" only to get mad if someone not from the area uses the same terms?

It was more like... "Okay, now all you pissed-off White people.... We don't care what you're actually pissed-off about. All we really need are some bodies to put in front of the cameras. And if you could con some Black people into showing up, that would be GOLD."

Not really. You've just managed to get your pink frilly panties in such a wad over our "anti-christ" of a president that you think the rest of the country thinks the way you do. Nice to see you peckerhead hypocrites stewing in your own juices! lmfao at you!!!

I saw the news yesterday morning and was amazed. Obama stops, shakes the guy's hand and talks for what, 30 seconds and everyone is acting like he's collaborating with the commies. Geezus! If this is the worst people can say about Barry Obama then we have it made. I wish they'd give the same air time to his spending policies as they do his swing set, his dog and who he shakes hands with.

I do agree with Obama's policy of dialog with "the enemy". America isn't exactly in the same position of power it was in the past. Our reputation of being somewhat conceded is bad enough without calling other countries axis of evils and such.

I am glad Barry is calling for his cabinet to cut the budget by $100 million. Well, actually when we take his big give away into account it is kind of like a family taking out a loan for $5 million they can never pay back and then saying, "Oh we better cut back some and use generic toilet paper now.".

It's a token start to his promise of cutting government spending by, how much did he promise?, 25%?

We have the strongest economy in the world, the strongest military, the most human rights, the most foreign aid, and the hottest woman.

1. Is that why the world is contemplating switching away from the dollar standard?

2. The strongest military in the world means little if we don't have the intestinal fortitude to properly use it to maximum effectiveness.

3. Our rights are tenuous and relative to the political landscape. We are not the only free nation on earth.

4. Depends on what numbers you use.

5. Have you been to Mississippi?

BHO Violating Internat'l Law AND Constitution
As some of you know, I was VERY GLAD to see BHO elected president. I supported him throughout the primaries and worked hard to help him win the general... but he's pissing me off... and I think he might be a "One Term" president.

The Budget is not the problem... It's funny to hear the right #&%!$ and moan about the size of the budget and deficit... The biggest difference between Bush's budgets and Obama's: Obama actually includes the cost of the war in his numbers whereas Bush DIDN'T. Bush used 'discresionary spending'.. The money was being spent just the same... it was just being hidden from our eyes. BHO lets us see what Bush has been doing for a LONG time... Please, redirect your anger over budgets and deficits more toward Bush where it belongs.

I digress...

It's the "Sovereign Immunity" claim where BHO expanded upon Bush's wiretap powers...

Followed by BHO saying he won't investigate or prosecute ANY CIA agents involved in torture.

This violates International Law as well as the US Constitution (which he's, obviously, sworn to uphold and defend).

Witness:

UN Rapporteur On Torture: Obama’s Pledge Not To Pursue Torture Prosecutions Of CIA Agents Is Not Legal

When President Obama released the four of the Office of Legal Counsel’s (OLC) Bush-era torture memos last week, he issued a statement promising not to pursue torture prosecutions against CIA agents who relied on the memos to justify their use of torture tactics on terrorist suspects in U.S. custody. (Notably, Obama left open the possibility of prosecuting the torture architects.) “t is our intention to assure those who carried out their duties relying in good faith upon legal advice from the Department of Justice that they will not be subject to prosecution,” Obama said.
But in an interview with the Austrian newspaper Der Standard, the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, Professor Manfred Nowak, explained that Obama’s grant of immunity is likely a violation of international law. As a party to the UN Convention Against Torture, the U.S. is obligated to investigate and prosecute U.S. citizens that are believed to have engaged in torture:

STANDARD: CIA torturers are according to U.S. President Obama not to be prosecuted. Is that decision supportable?
NOWAK: Absolutely not. The United States has, like all other Contracting Parties to the UN Convention Against Torture, committed itself to investigate instances of torture and to prosecute all cases in which credible evidence of torture is found.

[i]Indeed, Article 2 of the convention on torture explains that “no exceptional circumstances whatsoever” can be used to legally justify torture. Further, the convention states that an “order from a superior officer or a public authority may not be invoked as a justification of torture.”

Nowak explained that by invoking the OLC’s memos as justification for the actions of CIA agents against terrorist suspects in U.S. custody, Obama is acting contrary to U.S. obligations under the treaty:

STANDARD: In other words, by making this announcement, Obama has violated international law?
NOWAK: Correct. It is a violation of binding international treaty law in this case, because this is an international law convention — and it provides unequivocally that states are not merely obligated to make torture a crime, but also to prosecute any incidents of which credible evidence can be found.

In announcing his decision to release the OLC memos, Obama also suggested that he is not inclined to conduct a full investigation into the government’s use of torture. Nowak, however, said the he believes that such an investigation ought to be Obama’s highest priority. “Most importantly, there should be a comprehensive investigation undertaken by an independent body. Whether by a special investigatory commission created by Congress or by a special investigator — there are different approaches,” Nowak expalined.

Any treaty to which the US is signatory bears the full weight and measure of the US Constitution.... ergo, the Geneva Conventions must be defended just the same.

Obama's mad dash to the Center alienates his most fervent supporters - the Liberal Dems. Without them he will find himself in Democrat No-Mans-Land with little chance of being re-elected.

These kinds of actions will go a long way to alienating his Base. I think he's being a bonehead.
