The pound and a half oven is one thing. But carrying 5 pounds of flour, 3 pounds of cheese, two dozen eggs, a quart of vegetable oil, 2 pound of sugar and 4 cups of fresh fruit to make all those muffins must be tough.

Seriously though, I would like to see how it works as opposed to the pan that had the cover over it to go over a dragonfly. I can't remember the name of that design, but I used to see them from time to time and enjoyed a hell of a carrot cake out of one in the Ozarks one year. (No, I didn't cook it)

I have one and you don't carry a pound of flour. You use the just add water mix from Betty Crocker or others that make them. Take a look at the Web site all those items were baked in the Oven. Their is also some weights for the packaged foods. These package mix's are very inexpensive also you can get the muffin mix's at wal-mat for less than $1.00 ea.
if you want to see how it works check out the video's on YouTube just search Backpacker Oven.

Call me daft, being a poor southern redneck, as I am, but seeing the thing in actual field conditions would benefit me a little more than watching youtube.

Hell make your own oven. I made an ultralight dutch oven from cake pans for $30 less. Heck, most baking can be done in an ultralight skillet with a piece of foil.

Just float one of these in a covered pot with about a cup of water.
Heat for about ten minutes.

Eat Cake!

I trimmed the plastic bowl to fit and used my 0.9 L Ti pot.

I invented it and use it on all my trips. took it to the top of Mt. Whitney and had fresh baked pizza it was great. The people that have purchased one all enjoy it very much. Yes it does weigh in at 32 oz with pans but you can use the pans as 1 a pot for boiling water and the other for frying foods if thats what you want to do. So you don't need a cookset other than the Oven & pans. Plus you can keep water hot while you are baking. Its not realy for solo hiking but for 2 or more it works out great cause you can split up the weight.

"I saw this get $10.00 off at check out just enter code 12345."

I tend to have an immediate distrust of people who come in with a line like this when it is their own company and product they are trying to promote. Sorry, Brian Marsh, but this is not the way to "get feedback" on your product.

Just trying to let people now about the discount. I don't think I am twisting anybodys arm to buy this. They can make up their own mind if they want to buy or not.

Sorry if I offended you in any way. I did not want to come off as a salesman but maybe I should have!
