“Well I wish you guys would have told me that we had to submit proof of backpacking to Fridge. I mean, I'm at risk of not even being considered a backpacker here simply because I have not been vigilant enough on reporting. I organize maybe one single trip per 2-3 years, I don't do trip reports hardly at all, I don't sign up on trips too often preferring to just go and show up, I don't consider backpacking a real sport, I don't consider myself "hard core" because I backpack, I'm not a gear snob and I've done many trips with out even taking a camera.

So if I submit legal, notarized affidavits with photos as associated evidence of my trips and submit a gear list for vetting do I get anything; like a membership card or decoder ring? Not that I need a card or ring. Fridge's approval is all I seek.”

LOL! Actually I'm the first reported person to be lost (as in, I'm the first willing to admit it). I have been lost so many damn times in my hiking life it's not even funny. I consider myself pretty sharp with a map but as we all know not all maps are accurate. I've had to use hand drawn maps before.”
