Saw one at Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga today......battery operated or manual pump.....

That link still has #1 Sportsmans Warehouse iisted in Victorville, Ca. It opened 11 months ago in the vacated Costco building and was open 2 1/2 months before shutting it's doors.

The ZipVac looks good.

Ziploc brand has their own version of this already. Haven't tried it yet, but my neighbor swears by them.

I used it to sub pack my foods in Alaska.....after the 4th day backpacking all had lost there vaccum.....Not bad for CHEAP but no way for any length of time. FOOD SAVER is the best...

Oh yeah, I do have one of those food saver vacuum packers. The only thing I use it on though is vacuum packing koi food when I buy it in 50 lb. bags. About 20% of the food saver bags lose vacuum within the first week though. I end up re-sealing them. After that, they seem to stay.

I use the Reynolds Handi-Vac extensively. Less than 10 bucks available at your Grocer. Works Great. Bags are reasonably priced
