Snow Camping TRIP REPORT - WITH IGLOO!! !

“LOL, well, a late afternoon dinner at the local bar came about because of the hiking group that joined us at lunch. (FYI, croft followed the wrong car at one point and I had to go back from the bar to find her and, well, it all worked out in the end, lol). It was maybe from 3:30-4:15-ish that we ate there.

Back at camp, some did make more hot food, or at least hot drink, before turning in.

treebait, nope, didn't get a photo of it. It is a foggy ice, not clear. However, the igloo is definitely still up and likely will be till, ummm... June??? LOL! Lotsa totally frigid weather here.

I was just out there yesterday. A group of four gals snowshoed (the one again skied, as noted in the trip report). A couple of us made the short jog to check the igloo; didn't crawl in it though. It had snowed, so I presume the skylight was covered with snow.”

“It was pretty decent weather. Sunny... overnights probably in single digits, but not that later crap with the -35!!! And Sunday morning we woke up to a little snow having fallen and stuck to the tents. Inside the igloo - who cared??!? lol”
