My hubby has had a full beard for many years. We keep at less that ½ inch in length. I love it on him. It feels great when gently rubbed on certain parts of my body.

Beard here. I shaved only once in the last 26 years, just to see what I looked like underneath.

I've been thinking of shaving it , or at least a serious trim, but judging from the looks I've been getting from the women at work, it needs to stay, though long as it is. My biggest trouble is the strays. How do you keep them under control and still keep it long? Trim them or pull them?

I haven't been clean shaven in about 7 years and I doubt my kids would even recognise me if I did since I'd look about 15 even though I'm 29.

Love it Tilt!

Once you get the snot rocket down with out leaving any "hangers" you'll be golden RM. Seeing something dark hanging off your face takes some getting used to, and the food thing, you'll also adjust to. Just wipe your face fraquently with your napkin, or if prudency allows, the back of your hand at least.

Yeah, you have to watch out for that. I remember a teacher once (like 25 years old) who shaved off his beard and he looked like he was 12. His wife looked like a cradle robber, LOL

The sequel to this thread is called, "Legs of Hair" ladies. So we can discuss the pros and cons of a nice set of fur stockings during winter backpacking.

Awe Meanie ya should have let it grow more. The longer goatee gives more length to your face. You need something to make you appear taller. LOL!

GIVE me women, wine, and snuff
Untill I cry out "hold, enough!"
You may do so sans objection
Till the day of resurrection:
For, bless my beard, they aye shall be
My beloved Trinity.
