I'm into about week three of letting hair grow on my face. I have about 3 weeks until the winter campout in Yosemite. I should have a pretty full beard by then.

My wife hates it. My daughter thinks it is funny and tries to pull it. Other women do seem to like it tho...

When I was growing a beard, I used to like to sneak up behind my wife, and rest my chin on her neck.
She didn't react very well to this for some reason.

There ought to be a way to use them to carry things.... like scaled-up Velcro.

Transporting things in body hair can be problematic, though.

We've seen librarians with pencils stuck in their hair.... but few recall Marge Simpson had a secret stash of cash in a quart mayonnaise jar in her prodigious coif (along with a few birds' nests).

Then there was the strange rumor that the envoy Terry Waite was caught with a transponder in his hair while negotiating for the hostages' release in Lebanon.... and wound up a hostage himself.

Employ caution.

I guess they told Terry that if he wanted to leave that he can go to Helen Waite.
