AT plate for TNView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 13 of 13 messages posted.
AT plate for TN “There is an effort underway to produce a AT plate for TN. They need 1000 orders to make the thing and they have around 350. It's actually a great looking design. As much as I hate that the govmint seems to get more than their fair share on this deal, it still helps the AT. And on a personal note, I figure I've wasted a lot more money on less rewarding (at least it seems so now) things. Anyway, just passing on the info. If this has been posted before, I apologize. A link to more info: http://www.appalachiantrail.org/site/c.jkLXJ8MQKtH/b.4256571/k.34D2/Tenn_Steps_Closer_to_AT_Plate.htm Thanks folks. last edited: 1/28/09 7:30:32 AM” 7:54:45 AM 1/28/09 “I thought there was already an AT plate in TN? Chili and I were going to get one, but with the impending move, we decided to wait to see where we end up. If we make it to an AT state, we will see if they have a plate...” 7:57:01 AM 1/28/09 “I plan to get one when my current Friends of the GSMNP plate expires.” 7:57:11 AM 1/28/09 “Where are y'all impending to move to?” 7:58:34 AM 1/28/09 “don't know yet...will depend on where his employer send us in about a month and a half...we are hoping for West Virginia or Kentucky...” 7:59:49 AM 1/28/09 “I've got mine from NC and Nakedape just got his.Mine ends up costing me 88 bucks a year with me having it personalized with "SPAM" on it!!!” 9:15:14 AM 1/28/09 “i renew my tags soon, i will prolly get one of these.” 9:28:49 AM 1/28/09 “Oooh, perhaps we will see NG and Chili in West Virginia in June.” 9:33:22 AM 1/28/09 “Yeah I already paid for mine too and my TN tags are up for renewal. Reckon I'll have to spring for the TN tags till the AT stuff comes to fruition. Even doing that, it's still cheaper than an eight ball......” 9:43:29 AM 1/28/09 “Marko, we can only hope...” 9:44:38 AM 1/28/09 “ohhhhh, LICENSE plates...i was wondering why you guys were so excited about those ugly commemorative plates” 9:51:21 AM 1/28/09 AT Plate “Thanks to EMAN for posting this. I am on the team that is putting this plate together. Here's the deal. We have to get 1000 paid applications for the state to put this plate into production. So, if you are considering one, the time is now - not when your plates renew. When the plate goes into production, it will be sent to your county clerk where you can pick it up. At that time, you will pay a prorated amount on your county fees since you have already paid for your plate.” 6:15:06 PM 1/29/09 “Good Lord...I was thinking a dinner plate...but wondered why Spam was paying $88 ....sheesh.....my mind goes off on these tangets.... ...thrifty....you should be scared...” 7:05:13 PM 1/29/09
