look for a hiking place in N. Cal, by Sacto
Hi All!
So glad to have found this place. Hope you can help me. I have been an avid backpacker for awhile and now some beginner friends want to come on a trip with me at the end of this month. Wahoo but poses a problem...can't be long, no harsh conditions, and no snow. I know, hard since it is WINTER! They had to pick now. Gotta love them.
Anyway, I live in Sacramento. The plan is to go for 2 days, one night. Looking for a somewhat easy-doable trail. Willing to drive a couple of hours. I have been searching on the online for hours now and not coming up with much. My books are more advanced too. I am stuck. Any suggestions???? Websites, know of trails, anything would help....

Thanks!!!

Smiles, hmm. No snow can be hard this time of the year. There are some trails up around Auburn Rec Area. Look it up on the web. The Bay Area is another option. I've hiked and overnighted in Henry Coe State Park before and there are some good trails amongst the redwoods.

Good luck.
