Bear Grylls pants
I was trying to find out the kind of pants he wears with the black knee pads. I did a search and apparently all I could find is about his "new line of clothes" (he's gone Hollywood) with Craghoppers. I don't beleive Craghoppers are the pants with the black knee pads. Anyone know and have ideas?

Since almost everything he does would get you killed in the backcountry, I don't know why I'd want to wear his pants. I'm sure he only wears them cuz his producers think they look good.

But no, I don't have any idea.

I have a pair of shorts made similarly by a company that was bought out about five years ago. I adore them. Was bummed I never had a chance to get the pants before they stopped production. Mine are Lava Gear.
I have admired Bear's pants the past few episodes. I still think he's a dork though.

I don't think that style works for you, SS.

I caught a bit of Bears' idiocy last night. That twit was using a tree trunk to pole vault himself laterally down freakin' cliffs. I was hoping to see him go over the edge a little too far...

I just wanted to know about the pants. Those look like some nice pants except that they don't look like they zip away. He maybe dangerous and give novice bad ideas, but he is ballsy. It maybe dump practices, but I am impressed that he can do it. I would love to see the behind the scenes and see how much safty backups he has

Sass, What was the brand name?

I just saw a preview of the new show coming up where he rinses off a chunk of something out of bear #&%!$ and eats it. I will give it to him, he will eat anything.

And where he drank his pee out of a snake skin and the dark yellow stuff was running down his cheek and he wiped it with his sleeve. The man has stones!

Well, my computer must not want me to find those pants. I have been to the website and I copied and pasted Khul Craghoppers, and all that comes up is a tshirt. When I look at thier pants selection, I don't see any thing with the black need pads. I problably would not buy then anyways. The shipping would have been pretty expensive.

Those are them. Excellent job! I will have to find some friends in GB. I am not sure about the sizing. They only go by waist. They don't ask about length. Is everyong in GB the same hieght?

Indeed, I am considering a possible hiking trip in the UK a bit later this spring. Not sure though when I'll do another trip to the US.

Grylls needed to be airlifted from a mountainside in the Canadian Rockies with a badly damaged leg after a camera on a sled slammed into him, the most heart-stopping moment in seven new episodes of the series that starts on Wednesday at 9 p.m. EDT.

The enthusiastic survivalist had glissaded down a mountain, zipping down the snow on his backside, and stopped himself suddenly by using an ice pick. The camera following him didn't stop, missing Grylls' head and shoulder by inches before hitting him in the leg. It didn't break a bone, but came awfully close.

His first thought was, "Wow, I'm lucky."

Bear Survivor Trousers
Information on the newest version of the Survivor pants can be found here http://www.survivortrousers.com. They come in 3 colours and there's some sizing info and reviews on there too. I bought some of these survivor trousers and use them for mountain biking. The knee black panels are stretchy so the are well good for cycling. Whether or not they help you with survival depends upon your situation I guess. Anyway Great trousers if you don't mind Bear Grylls logo on the leg pocket.

I bought a pair and now I cannot stop jumping of high bluffs into creeks diving under ice and eating stuff that would make a Billy Goat puke ! LOL.
Aside, they are excellent pants.

Did I mention I was the first person from Alabama to float over Everest in a lawn chair with party balloons tied to the armrest!?
